My name is Jenneca Crocker and I am so excited to be in a new position at Luckiamute Valley Charter Schools this upcoming year! As we transition into the new school year, I am eager to meet our new families and students as well as see our returning familiar faces! We have such a beautiful and unique learning and growth opportunity at LVCS and I feel very blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community.
I graduated from Northwest Christian University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary education. I began teaching in the Sutherlin School District as a first grade teacher while I earned my Master’s Degree in Elementary Literacy and Development from Grand Canyon University.
After three years, I joined the United States Army as an Officer and have been serving in the Reserves for the past 4 years. I was hired at Luckiamute Valley Charter Schools in 2014 as the second grade teacher and have been fortunate to meet some very passionate and hardworking teachers, students, and families. In July, I completed my Administrative Licensure Program through the University of Oregon and am excited to take on a new leadership role as a school administrator! Teaching has opened up many new doors and opportunities and has allowed me to grow as a person. A person never stops learning. Each and every student who has ever been in my classroom has taught me something new, and I strive to be a positive influence in their lives every day.
I am married and we have a beautiful little girl who is growing up way too fast and learning new things every day. I enjoy doing anything outdoors, sports, playing music, and spending time with my family as much as I possibly can.
